What changed in each release, newest first. The Mac app updates itself; the iPhone app updates through the App Store. To install the current version, use the download links on the home page.

iPhone

App Store releases. Dates are when each version went live on the App Store.

iPhone 1.0.4

  • New: "Enhance library" button in the You tab fills in richer genres and moods for your albums and queues newly heard tracks for mood analysis.
  • Today's Journey no longer adds a duplicate to My stations each day, and My stations now lists only the stations you made yourself.
  • More reliable playback when you start a song, including in silent mode; tapping a track in search now plays on through the rest of the list.
  • Fixed a blank station that could appear after syncing across devices.

iPhone 1.0.3

  • Connects faster to your Plex server when you are away from home.
  • Stations you made before sync arrived now show up on your other devices.
  • Tapping an artist in search now opens their albums.
  • Full VoiceOver support and bigger buttons throughout; Now Playing fits properly on smaller iPhones.
  • Fixed browse showing the wrong list after a quick tap.

iPhone 1.0.2

  • New: Today's Journey — a radio station built from your station listening history, your "on the daily" mix on a single station.
  • Assorted bug fixes.

iPhone 1.0.1

  • More stable connection to Plex servers.
  • Radio album covers are cached, so tiles show real art even before Plex connects.
  • Improved search, and fixed not being able to get back to your search results.
  • A few other bits and bobs.

iPhone 1.0

  • First App Store release.
  • Your Radio: a dial of stations built from your own Plex library, with a TV-style channel guide.
  • Offline mode with downloaded stations, stats, and thumbs and queue in Now Playing.
  • Sign in with your Falls account to sync stations and listening across devices.

Mac

Direct download and in-app updates. Version numbering for the Mac app started at 1.0.1.

Mac 1.0.10

  • Remote Plex browsing and playback recover from stale routes and pick a direct or Relay connection as needed.
  • Shared Plex servers connect properly instead of getting stuck on "Connecting".
  • Today's Journey stays as a single station and clears old daily duplicates across synced devices.

Mac 1.0.9

  • Remote Plex playback avoids dead routes and shows progress while it connects.
  • Cross-device station sync repairs itself when it drifts.
  • The History view loads in pages, so large listening histories stay quick.

Mac 1.0.8

  • New: Today's Journey — a daily radio station mixed from the stations you have been playing.
  • Reworked sidebar utilities.
  • Assorted bug fixes.

Mac 1.0.7

  • Sturdier Plex connections: retries the relay, remembers discovered servers, and signs in correctly to servers shared with you.
  • Small libraries get a sensible minimum number of stations on the dial.
  • Signed and notarised by Apple, including the automatic-update bundle, so Gatekeeper opens it without a warning.

Mac 1.0.6

  • The stations dial now fills all the way to the size you choose; seats a genre cannot fill are handed to genres that can.

Mac 1.0.5

  • The stations dial refreshes mid-session when a sync or mood update reshuffles your stations, keeping the old dial visible while the new one builds.
  • Genre stations are sized in proportion to your library, and you can set how many stations the dial holds.
  • Activity stations use real song-mood data.
  • Fixed a stall on first play over a stale Plex connection.

Mac 1.0.4

  • Mood radio: stations are now clustered using AI-analysed song moods.
  • New "Enrich my library" button sends your whole Plex library for mood analysis.
  • Radio starts faster and heals itself when a stream drops.
  • Station play counts sync across your devices.

Mac 1.0.3

  • No more dead air between station tracks: the next track is fetched ahead of time.
  • Playback recovers after the Plex connection drops and reconnects.
  • Plays are scrobbled back to Plex.

Mac 1.0.2

  • The station guide appears instantly at launch; the library is harvested in the background instead of up front.

Mac 1.0.1

  • First release of the 1.0 line.
  • Station button in the player bar.
